What is Gyrotonic methodology?

Gyrotonic exercises consist of a series of spiralling, circular and undulating movements performed on specially designed equipment. The exercises are smooth, flowing and gives a feeling of moving through water.

What is GYROKINESIS® methodology?

Gyrokinesis exercises consist of a series of rhythmic and undulating movements performed on a stool and a mat and is taught in a class format.

JULIO HORVATH created the GYROTONIC EXPANSION SYSTEM®. The experience of personal struggle and chronic illness inspired him to create a new movement system for maintaining health and wellbeing.

Who can perform Gyrotonic excercises?

Anyone regardless of age, fitness or skill can perform Gyrotonic exercises. The exercises can also be used for rehabilitation or sports specific training e.g. dance or golf.
